Culture & Trends expert for YouTube Shorts in Brazil, a role built and shaped after YouTube

Shorts launch globally, in late 2021. That said, it required an entrepreneurial personality to

aggregate with the project.

– Responsible for leading Shorts Communities research locally, deep diving on topics that

establish YouTube as the cultural radar it is;

– Integrated work with the Product and Engineering teams to provide insights that can make

YouTube Shorts better for users and creators;

Head of YouTube Social Media Marketing LATAM | YouTube

Social Lead in LATAM region, a role that demands strong organizational skills, deep

knowledge of social platforms plus YouTube Creators and Artists and a fast problem

solving personality.

– Responsible for structuring the department in Latin America as the first local team

member, building a cross regional team that now has social specialists in Brazil, Mexico

and in Argentina

– Creation and execution of several social centric campaigns, such as YouTube Black and

#WithMe;

– Built a day-to-day process based on data and social researches that impacts daily creation,

leading the teams (agencies, temps) to a better performance;

– Creator and Co-Lead of ‘Conversas Que Importam’ project, built to discuss racial justice

topics in Brazil. Won a MTV MIAW with the project, showing the impact it had on the

Social Media Lead in Brazil. I had the chance to start working with the musical.ly app and

make the brand transition to TikTok, which is now one of the most popular apps among

teens, creators and celebrities.

– Planning and executing the rebrand strategy with the ultimate goal of bringing awareness

through social media;

– Successfully implemented TikTok educational program on Youtube, where we could

communicate directly to our users and teach them platform best practices on creation;

– Responsible for building TikTok tone of voice and content strategy on social platforms

such as Instagram and Twitter;

– As the fourth member of the musica.ly team in BR, I had the chance to work closer to

creators, ideate events to connect fans and creators and deeply understand how data and

algorithms works once we needed to lift all the departments together and really bring the

start up to life in Brazil;

Joined NBUniversal to work with on air promo production, responsible for overseeing the

whole process from creation till it comes to life. After my promotion, my scope changed to

original TV show executive production and social media creation.

– Script and episode analysis of Unidade Básica, Rotas do Ódio, Amigo de Aluguel, Natalia

and Cinelab. Management of all these shows, each one in a different production status.

– Budget administration for these productions

– Created an online video strategy for Universal Channel’s and Syfy’s social media during

Sao Paulo Comic Con on 2015, 2016 and 2017, hiring and managing partners, scripting

videos and even presenting the content.

– Content lead of Amo Séries, the first NBUniversal’s YouTube Channel with original content

– Creation of brand defense videos for commercial department in order to improve sales

– Successfully implemented a process that improved the production of promos per week

(from 3 to 8)

– Created a original promo for Chicago Fire new season that was adapted for the German

market and contested in Promax
